Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray recently celebrated his birthday yesterday, and he shared a message to his 1.3 million Instagram followers:

"25... Hit me with some adversity: Some good, some bad. Gained some real ones, lost some fake. F---- em' we ball! Bounce back," he wrote.

"26 years, let's get it. Thank you for all the wishes."

Murray is working towards a return from a torn ACL and meniscus suffered late in the 2022 season. This past offseason has seen Murray slowly progress into fully running sprints and nearing the end of his rehab, though nobody knows when he will return to practice. Murray was placed on the PUP list ahead of camp.

"It's a great question. I have no answer for you, though. I take it one day at a time. Like I said, I don't have a timetable or whatever. But yeah, just taking it one day at a time," said Murray when asked how close he was to returning.

"Obviously me being the competitor I am, do I want to miss any time? No, it's not on my mind. But we're not even in August yet so I've taken it one day at a time."

Murray was handed a five-year, $230.5 million contract last offseason and is now working under a first-time head coach and offensive coordinator. He also lost DeAndre Hopkins in free agency, too.

However, it's clear Arizona's franchise passer is hoping to overcome the odds and defeat any of the narratives surrounding him and his team.
