Cardinals WR Marquise Brown Expected to Play vs Commanders

Arizona Cardinals WR Marquise Brown is reportedly expected to play vs. Washington.

Arizona Cardinals WR Marquise Brown - who was listed as questionable heading into Sunday with a hamstring injury - is expected to play per The Score's Jordan Schultz.

Brown was a limited participant in all three days of practice.

After the departure of DeAndre Hopkins, Brown slides into the WR1 role in Arizona with players such as Michael Wilson and Rondale Moore behind him. Brown is entering the final year of his contract, and he hopes to prove himself.

"I'm always working to be the best on the field no matter what. So for me, I was just working. I wanted him to be here, but he's not. I know he's gonna do great things for wherever he go. But for me, my thinking process and my role, how I see myself, hasn't changed," Brown said earlier in the offseason.

In a total of eight games without Hopkins, Brown secured 50 catches for 553 yards and three touchdowns according to StatMuse. If he can replicate that production, a nice payday could be awaiting him next offseason.

For now, Brown will be catching passes from either Josh Dobbs or Clayton Tune until Kyler Murray (who is on the PUP list) returns.

The Commanders are -7.5 point favorites vs. Arizona. Inactives are made official 90 minutes prior to kickoff.
