The dust has settled on the Arizona Cardinals' offseason, and now the wait is on until training camp appears at State Farm Stadium in just over a month's time.

It's been an interesting few months for the Cardinals, who have operated under new management with first-time GM Monti Ossenfort running the show.

There's been a handful of key starters that have departed the organization, though Arizona has gathered some young talent in the draft while preparing for their rebuild.

After OTA's and voluntary/mandatory minicamps, there's not many more changes coming to Arizona's roster. Major additions aren't expected with the Cardinals having to trim their roster down to 53 players ahead of the regular season.

However, there's always room to squeeze one more slice of talent in. Here's what ESPN offered on what the Cardinals need to do to round out their offseason:

"It would appear the front-runner for the starting gig at center is Hjalte Froholdt, a journeyman who started six games for the Browns last season," said Field Yates.

"His familiarity with offensive coordinator Drew Petzing (hired from Cleveland) helps, but this still feels like a potential upgrade spot. (Rookie Jon Gaines II could become the long-term starter in time, as well.) While the timeline for Kyler Murray's return is uncertain, having a reliable rock in the middle of the offensive line can be a big boost for pre-snap communication and post-snap execution."

Froholdt indeed is the front-runner to replace Rodney Hudson after his retirement, and Yates is fairly accurate in projecting Gaines as the potential starter for the future. Outside of that, the Cardinals don't have many options.

Quarterback Colt McCoy has been fairly pleased with how Froholdt has handled himself.

"For me, it makes me feel pretty comfortable, right? It's kind of like having Rodney [Hudson] out there. I'm not comparing those two guys, but Rodney was the same way. He had this demeanor about him that, 'I'm gonna make it right up front, if you see something else that's all you.' Right. I kind of feel the same way in the operation with Hjalte," McCoy said during OTA's.

Ben Jones is likely the top name the Cardinals would pursue on the open market.
