Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray is used to the outside noise.

That's part of the gig when you're one of the greatest high school football players to ever rise out of the state of Texas - and a Heisman trophy winner - and a No. 1 pick - and a franchise quarterback who inked a monster contract extension.

That's not to say Murray isn't deserving of criticism - especially with some of his teammates chiming in. Rehabbing from a torn ACL late last season with a new coaching staff and without DeAndre Hopkins will prove to be a challenge, even for a quarterback that has flashed the talent Murray has.

Thus, it's been hard to project exactly where Murray will fall in the realm of quarterback rankings. CBS Sports has their own ideas, though.

Murray fell in the sixth tier of their quarterback rankings, titled "No Clue, Man" alongside passers such as Sam Howell, Jordan Love, Baker Mayfield and Desmond Ridder.

"Kyler could go anywhere on this list and could also be his own tier because I couldn't possibly begin to guess how MUCH he plays in 2023, much less how WELL he plays this coming season. The Cards might very well sit on him knowing they want to move on next year after a full-fledge tank sesh," wrote Will Brinson.

Obviously, this caused quite the stir with people for a few different reasons. Murray himself even weighed in on Twitter by saying, "I love it" with a few laughing emojis.

Murray is pushing for an early return to the field.

"The Cardinals’ star quarterback is in the midst of his ACL recovery and is pushing to return to action as early as possible, according to a source with close knowledge of the situation," wrote Cardinals insider Kyle Odegard.

"However, the new coaching staff in Arizona has been trying to manage those expectations, intent on taking a measured approach to ensure there is a low chance of re-injury.

"Murray tore his ACL in a December 12 game against the New England Patriots and had surgery on January 3. He began straight-line running a couple weeks ago and has not suffered any setbacks, the source said."
