Kyzir White Labeled Cardinals' Best-Kept Secret
The Arizona Cardinals aren't expected to do very much next season, giving plenty of opportunity for players to leave their mark through the 17-game gauntlet.
Stars such as DeAndre Hopkins and Budda Baker are still on the roster and could very well stick with the team and cause their usual chaos, but there's plenty of room for other players on the roster to make a name for themselves.
Who could rise to the occasion?
Bleacher Report says linebacker Kyzir White fits that bill.
Kyzir White Labeled Cardinals' Best-Kept Secret
"The Philadelphia Eagles defense as a whole got plenty of credit last season. The unit was one of the best in the league and racked up 70 sacks on their way to a Super Bowl berth," said Alex Ballentine.
"Jonathan Gannon parlayed his work as their defensive coordinator into the head coaching job at Arizona. As he tries to change the culture in Arizona and build a contender he brought two Eagles with him: Zach Pascal and Kyzir White.
"The latter was only with the Eagles for a year but his contributions shouldn't go unnoticed. He helped upgrade the linebacking corps in Philly and served as an asset in coverage.
"He allowed just 288 yards in coverage on the season and held quarterbacks to a 74.4 passer rating when targeted. He racked up 110 combined tackles on the season and missed just five tackles.
"His sure tackling and coverage will be incredibly helpful as Gannon tries to build the defense he wants in the desert."
Gannon brought over a handful of reliable players to help run his system and establish a new culture in Arizona. White is the most likely to make an impact.
