2023 is likely going to be a brutal year for Arizona Cardinals fans to endure, so we can't blame anyone for wanting to already begin looking ahead to the 2024 NFL Draft or perhaps even beyond that. It's simply what happens to fans when they a placed in a situation that Cardinals fans are facing.

With that in mind, the 2024 draft class looks wonderful with some potential generational talents coming in at many positions, but none look as exciting as Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.

And before you ask, yes. He is related to that Marvin Harrison in case you were uninformed.

For those who have never watched MHJ before, let me paint you a picture: MHJ is a 6'4" 205 lb wide receiver with great speed, elite hands, and some of the most ridiculous body control you'll ever see at the position.

The tape is bonkers and his best days are yet to come. Even with a new quarterback under center for the Buckeyes in 2023, Harrison Jr. should be a legitimate Heisman Trophy candidate.

It is no wonder why everyone is drooling over MHJ for the 2024 NFL Draft - even before the upcoming season starts. It also makes sense why Cardinals fans are daydreaming of him staying in a red uniform.

The Cardinals have had some very talented wide receivers play for the team and since the turn of the century, it has been rare for the team to roll out a below-average wide receiving core. That could be the case in 2023, however, and it already has us ready for the future. Could MHJ be a part of that future?

Think about it... The Cardinals will likely be one of the worst teams in the league in 2023 and should wind up with a top-five pick next year. Even if they don't, they possess the Houston Texans' first-round pick next year which could also be a top-five selection. That's two opportunities to assure the Cardinals are within range for MHJ.

Beyond the capital the team should possess to land Harrison Jr., the Cardinals have enjoyed great receiver play for 20 some years thanks to guys like Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin, and DeAndre Hopkins. Adding MHJ to that list of guys would be surreal.

And just for the goofiness of it all, the new Cardinals' uniforms are strikingly similar to the Ohio State Buckeyes' uniforms, so photoshopping MHJ into a Cardinals jersey wouldn't take much effort.

It is a long ways out, but it somehow feels like a certainty that Marvin Harrison Jr. will one day be rocking a Cardinals uniform. Here's hoping the stars align that way.
