ARIZONA -- It wasn't long ago when DeAndre Hopkins suited up for the Arizona Cardinals, though football season being in full swing and Hopkins' presence on the Tennessee Titans had made that feel like a lifetime ago already.

There's no denying the impact Hopkins can make when given the opportunity, though the Cardinals were clearly not wanting to carry his massive cap hit into the future of their rebuild.

Arizona received plenty of flack from the national perspective after allowing Hopkins to walk - though Hopkins could again be on the move.

As the NFL's Oct. 31 trade deadline approaches, Hopkins is one of the hottest names on the trade block despite recently joining the Titans on a two-year, $26 million deal.

With Tennessee potentially looking to tear things down and Hopkins failing to truly impress, trade buzz around the former Cardinals receiver is quite loud.

NFL insider Jason La Canfora reported the following after speaking with anonymous general managers across the league.

"The big question is future Hall of Fame wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, who got $9 million to sign but carries a minimal salary. 'Would they pay $9 million for a second-round pick?' wondered the first GM, believing the Titans could get that value in return, with perhaps a smidgen more brd on Hopkins’s production with his new team."

Hopkins initially took interest from teams such as the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs after saying he wanted to play for a contender but ultimately landed with Tennessee. The Titans are just 2-4 to begin the season and recently dealt notable safety Kevin Byard.

Derrick Henry is also a popular name in trade speculation as Tuesday nears.

Hopkins has 27 receptions for 376 yards and no touchdowns in 2023.
