*UPDATE: Moore has returned to action.*

ARIZONA -- On the Chicago Bears' opening drive, WR D.J. Moore fell to the ground with what appeared to be a right lower leg injury after hauling in a reception from Justin Fields.

Moore looked like he was going to try and get up under his own power before leaning back on the ground for Bears medical staff to take a look at him.

The play happened with not even a minute gone at the 14:13 mark when the clock stopped. Cardinals rookie cornerback Starling Thomas wrapped Moore up and tried to twist him down to the ground with Moore's right ankle apparently caught underneath Thomas' body.

Moore did eventually walk off under his own power, heading to the sideline and straight to the blue medical tent.

Bears WR Tyler Scott came in for Moore.

This article will be updated as more info becomes available.

According to the FOX broadcast, Moore has led Chicago in receiving yards in 11 of 14 games this season, which is tied with Philadelphia Eagles WR A.J. Brown for most in the NFL.

Moore had 80 receptions for 1,123 and seven touchdowns entering this week. He was acquired via trade from the Carolina Panthers before the 2023 NFL Draft.
