Fantasy Football Expert: Sit Cardinals WR Marquise Brown in Week 3
The Arizona Cardinals managed to find their footing last week on the offensive side of the ball, putting up 28 points before ultimately stumbling in a loss to the New York Giants.
The Cardinals aren't in business for moral victories, but there's certainly more hope for their offense to click in Week 3 despite one of the best defenses in the league strolling into town.
The Dallas Cowboys are off to quite the start on the defensive side of the ball. Their +7 turnover differential is the highest in the league, so too is their mark of ten total sacks and five points allowed per game.
For fantasy football owners, this doesn't exactly spell breakout game for anybody in the desert, and Pro Football Focus says owners of Marquise Brown should consider sitting him this week.

PFF's Nathan Jahnke makes the following points for his case to sit Brown:
-"Brown has caught nine passes for 82 yards so far this season as the Arizona Cardinals‘ top wide receiver. He has scored the 32nd-most fantasy points among wide receivers."
-"Brown in Week 3 faces the Dallas Cowboys, who have allowed the fewest fantasy points to wide receivers this season."
-"He has excelled against man defenses over the past two seasons. His target rate is much higher against man (28.7%) than zone (19.8%), and his yards per route run and targets per route run are both higher against man."
-"The Cowboys have allowed a 57.1% completion percentage while in man defense so far, which ranks fifth best."
Does the absence of Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs change anything after he tore his ACL during practice?
Diggs is no doubt a great talent, but Dallas' front is still good enough to consistently get to the quarterback and wreck havoc at the line of scrimmage. Stephon Gilmore is still a tough assignment for any receiver, too.
Thus far, Brown is a consensus WR37 in Week 3 rankings on FantasyPros.
