Jake Bobo Makes Catch of the Year vs Cardinals
ARIZONA -- It's been a wild back-and-forth NFC West tilt between the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks, and it's only halftime.
After the Cardinals emerged ahead of Seattle in the middle of the second quarter, the Seahawks looked to retake the lead heading into the locker room, and rookie receiver Jake Bobo made that happen with what just might be the catch of the season over Cardinals CB Starling Thomas:
The catch gave Bobo his second touchdown of the season and Seattle a 14-10 lead over the Cardinals.
With DK Metcalf missing his first ever NFL game after entering Week 7 questionable with a hips/rib injury, Bobo and the rest of Seattle's receiving corps of Tyler Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba were asked to step up in a major way.
They've done exactly that thus far.
Bobo has been a fun story to emerge out of Seattle. After going undrafted in the 2023 NFL Draft, Bobo signed with the Seahawks as a free agent and made some noise during OTA's and training camp.
Heading into today, he had four receptions for 51 yards in five games.
Seattle leads 14-10 heading into the half. They'll receive the ball to begin the third quarter.
