WATCH: Cardinals QB Josh Dobbs Breaks Off 23-Yard TD Run

Arizona Cardinals QB Josh Dobbs scored his first touchdown of the 2023 season in epic fashion.

GLENDALE -- Arizona Cardinals QB Josh Dobbs is known for his mobility, and it was just that in which the team found the end zone for the second time this afternoon.

After failing to produce an offensive touchdown in their Week 1 loss against the Washington Commanders, the New York Giants saw Dobbs scamper for a 23-yard score in the early portions of the second quarter to emerge ahead 14-0 on the scoreboard.

Dobbs' run was capped off with him mowing over a Giants defender (who admittedly was trying to strip Dobbs) to reach the goal line:

The rush capped a seven play, 80-yard drive for Arizona. James Conner opened the scoring earlier in the first quarter with a four-yard score on the ground.

The Cardinals currently lead the Giants 14-0 in the second quarter. Arizona has 184 net yards, which is nearly the 210 total yards they had in their 20-16 defeat to the Commanders in Week 1.

For now, Arizona's offense is humming and is vastly more open than their previous outing.

Dobbs received heavy criticism after his performance last week in which he fumbled twice and averaged just 4.4 yards per attempt. Today, he looks much more comfortable.

Dobbs was acquired from the Cleveland Browns at the end of preseason for a fifth-round pick. Arizona also received a seventh-round pick in the deal.
