Cardinals Add Starting Safety to Injury Report
ARIZONA -- The Arizona Cardinals have now added safety Jalen Thompson to their injury report as questionable with a back injury.
Arizona's full injury report ahead of Week 12's game against the Los Angeles Rams looks as follows:
OUT - Antonio Hamilton, Kevin Strong, Michael Wilson
QUESTIONABLE - Marquise Brown, Joey Blount, Emari Demercado, Jonathan Ledbetter, Jesse Luketa, Zach Pascal, Jalen Thompson
Thompson practiced fully all week.
In nine games played thus far, Thompson has racked up 48 tackles, four passes defensed and two interceptions. He also missed the first matchup against Los Angeles with a hamstring issue.
Defensively, the Cardinals have struggled this year, ranking near the bottom in terms of yards allowed per game with 349.5 (24th) and 25.8 points per game (27th).
Arizona also lost Kyzir White and Leki Fotu to injured reserve this past week due to injury. They will miss at least the next four weeks.
Andre Chachere would be expected to start next to Budda Baker if Thompson can't go.
Offensively, the Rams are expected to see both Kyren Williams and Cooper Kupp healthy on Sunday, a rather big boost for Matthew Stafford and the rest of LA's offense.
Arizona hopes to play spoiler to any postseason hopes for Los Angeles, who is 4-6 on the season. The Cardinals themselves are 2-9.
Official inactives will be released 90 minutes ahead of game time, which is set for 2:05 PM Arizona time.
