ARIZONA -- Though Week 8 just ended for the Arizona Cardinals, we know some information ahead of the team's Week 9 meeting against the Cleveland Browns.

As the dust was settling on the team's 31-24 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon said he had full confidence in Joshua Dobbs after Arizona again found themselves down to their opponent.

"I have complete confidence in him and I thought that he would give us the best chance to get back in the game," Gannon said when asked if he ever thought about switching to rookie quarterback Clayton Tune.

When asked if Dobbs would be the starter in Week 9's meeting with the Cleveland Browns, Gannon gave a one-word response:

"Yeah."

Dobbs completed 25/37 passes for 208 yards, 2 TD and 2 INT. He also rushed six times for 26 yards and one touchdown on the ground.

The pending arrival of Kyler Murray has plenty of Cardinals fans excited about his potential emergence in the coming weeks. Murray was fully healthy in all three days of practice this week but was ruled doubtful ahead of the weekend.

Murray must be activated to the active roster by Nov. 8, which is the end of his 21-day practice window. Arizona plays on the road vs Cleveland and at home against the Atlanta Falcons the following two weeks.

Though Murray looks close, it's unknown when exactly Arizona plans to bring their franchise quarterback back to action.

If Murray isn't a go next week on the road, it looks like it'll be the Dobbs show once again.
