ARIZONA -- The Arizona Cardinals enter Week 13 with hope that they'll regain some bodies back to the sideline in an important road game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Before practice, head coach Jonathan Gannon met with reporters and gave a few injury updates.

There's been no change of status on Zach Ertz, who was placed on injured reserve with a quad injury after seven games.

"Nothing's changed with Zach [Ertz]," said Gannon. Trey McBride has performed well in Ertz's starting spot.

Gannon did provide encouraging updates to the trenches, as he confirmed Elijah Wilkinson would return from injured reserve after missing the last five weeks with a neck injury.

"Elijah [Wilkinson] will be back out there today, opening his window. We'll see if we can get some guys out there that have been nicked a little bit and see how the week goes," Gannon said.

Wilkinson will have 21 days to practice before the Cardinals must place him on the active roster, though they can activate him at any time. When healthy, he could return to the starting lineup at left guard.

When it comes to the defensive side of the ball, Kevin Strong "looks like he's ready to go" after missing last week with a knee injury according to Gannon. With Leki Fotu on injured reserve, Strong's presence would be welcomed along the defensive line.

The Cardinals will reveal their first injury report of Week 13 later today.
