Cardinals GM: Kyler Murray Gave Us Confidence
INDIANAPOLIS -- The Arizona Cardinals are prepping for the 2024 NFL Combine here at Lucas Oil Stadium, where they'll evaluate a handful of prospects to help the team move forward into their rebuild.
One position they don't have to worry about? Quarterback, despite false reports suggesting otherwise.
"I think it's a good position to be in," Cardinals GM Monti Ossenfort told reporters today in Indianapolis.
"I think the way Kyler [Murray] came back at the end of the year gave us all a lot of confidence. The way the offense hit their stride both running the football and throwing the football and just getting Kyler's health back to a point where he could use his legs, use his arms, do the things we're accustomed to seeing.
"I think as always we're going to evaluate every position that comes in the draft but knowing that Kyler's where he's at, and not only where he's at but getting better and seeing him work and progress the way he is, I think it's an exciting spot to be in."

Murray emerged healthy and clean after the 2023 season, playing half the year once he fully recovered from major ACL/meniscus surgery.
Though the Cardinals finished 4-13, Murray established himself as the unquestionable guy moving forward.
