Cardinals Gush Over Marvin Harrison Jr.
INDIANAPOLIS -- It's no secret who the Arizona Cardinals would love to fall to them at No. 4 in the 2024 NFL Draft.
You've seen it in mock drafts. Tweets. Posts. Any analysis of the Cardinals starts and ends with Ohio State WR Marvin Harrison Jr. - who is widely regarded as one of the best non-quarterback prospects in the draft.
It's a rare case where need meets value/talent. Arizona desperately needs a playmaker for Kyler Murray in the receiving corps while Harrison would likely be the top option available for the Cardinals with the number four pick.
"Marvin's been a great player, he's been a productive player these past couple years. It's a strong receiver draft. There's good players at the top of the draft, there's good depth at the mid-rounds, and so you can certainly put Marvin in that mix," said Cardinals GM Monti Ossenfort.
"I really don't want to get into an individual scouting report right now, all I can tell you is we've done a lot of work on Marvin, just as we have the rest of the draft. Excited to continue to work him through the process here in the next couple months."
HC Jonathan Gannon was also asked about Harrison:
"Playmaker. Playmaker. Any time he touches it, he can score points. So that's the name of the game, score one more point than the other team. So I need to watch him more, but he's a playmaker."
