James Conner Makes Insane One-Handed TD Catch vs Eagles
ARIZONA -- The Arizona Cardinals are tied with the Philadelphia Eagles heading into the final quarter of play in Philly, thanks to an incredible catch from running back James Conner.
With just minutes left in the third quarter, Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray escaped pressure from an Eagles defender and found Conner coming across the left side of the end zone, who made an insane one-handed reception to draw Arizona within two points of Philadelphia's lead.
Cardinals WR Michael Wilson converted the two-point attempt through the air to tie the score at 21-21.
Through three quarters of play, Conner rushed for 115 yards on 21 carries (5.5 yards per attempt) while catching his lone reception for five yards as well.
He's not the only Arizona running back to make a highlight reel play, as backup Michael Carter made an Eagles defender miss before finding the end zone a few plays later:
Conner has had a fantastic year for Arizona and has arguably been the Cardinals' most valuable player on either side of the ball. He figures to be a key part of Arizona's offense as the front office continues to rebuild and retool their team moving forward into 2024.
