ARIZONA -- The Arizona Cardinals will have a new quarterback when they face the Cleveland Browns in Week 9.

Head coach Jonathan Gannon met with reporters today and confirmed either Kyler Murray or Clayton Tune would start in Cleveland.

Joshua Dobbs has officially been demoted after eight games of play.

"Just real quick - talked on the quarterbacks this morning. We're gonna keep ramping up Kyler [Murray] and see how he progresses through the week. If it's not Kyler then it's gonna be Clayton Tune," said Gannon.

"I've talked to all three quarterbacks and [we're all] on the same page on how we're gonna operate moving forward. I look forward to having a good week of prep. Cleveland, two-day trip, try to go get a win."

This comes off the heels of another loss for Arizona, their fifth in a row.

Dobbs completed 25/37 passes for 208 yards, 2 TD and 2 INT yesterday. He also rushed six times for 26 yards and one touchdown on the ground against Baltimore.

Fans have been pounding the table for Tune - the team's fifth-round rookie out of Houston - to start at least once while Murray was on the mend.

Now, he could very well get that possibility.

NFL insider Ian Rapoport says Tune - barring any changes - will get the start in Cleveland.

Tune was thought to be a potential starter during preseason play before the team cut Colt McCoy and acquired Dobbs via trade. Murray is still on the PUP list and must be activated to the roster by next week.
