Cardinals Meet With Offensive Line Prospect
ARIZONA -- The Arizona Cardinals have reportedly met with NC State interior lineman Dylan McMahon, he revealed in an interview with The Draft Network. The meeting was virtual.
"Pro Day is on March 26. I recently met with the Cardinals virtually. I have one coming up with the Bills. The Broncos are on the schedule soon as well. That’s this week alone," he told Justin Melo.
Arizona has also reportedly met with draft prospects such as USC WR Brenden Rice, Texas Tech CB Rayshad Williams, Auburn CB Nehemiah Pritchett and Washington RB Dillon Johnson. There's sure to be many more, those are just the publicly known ones.
The Cardinals have done some extensive work in free agency - particularly in regards to their interior offensive line, re-signing Trystan Colon/Elijah Wilkinson while also bringing on Evan Brown.
More from McMahon's NFL.com draft profile, which grades him as a likely late-round pick/fringe roster player:
"Center-only prospect on the next level, lacking desired length and NFL play strength. McMahon plays with good intelligence and technique, which serves him well against average competition, but he is likely to struggle when it comes to getting and keeping NFL competition blocked in both the run game and in pass protection. He will need to get bigger and stronger and play for a zone-scheme unit to have a shot at sticking on a roster."
