ARIZONA -- When it rains, it pours.

The Arizona Cardinals have announced the following roster moves in a statement after their Week 11 loss to the Houston Texans:

"The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has re-signed safety Qwuantrezz Knight (KWAN-trez) and signed defensive lineman Ben Stille (STILL-ee) to the active roster from the practice squad.

"In addition, the team placed defensive lineman Leki Fotu and linebacker Kyzir White on injured reserve, re-signed wide receiver Daniel Arias to the practice squad and released wide receiver Davion Davis from the practice squad."

The two major takeaways here are the departures of Fotu and White to injured reserve, as both starters will leave holes for Arizona's defense to fill. The Cardinals are allowing nearly 26 points per game.

White leads the Cardinals with 90 tackles on the season. He also has registered three passes defensed, two sacks and one interception.

"Kyzir's gonna go on IR," Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon said at his Monday press conference. "Bicep, which is - I think he played five or six plays with a torn bicep which was actually kind of gut-wrenching to watch because I didn't know he tore his bicep and he's out there playing with one arm. That's why he is who he is - captain."

Fotu himself was just picking up steam for the Cardinals in the defensive interior. NFL Media's Ian Rapoport reported earlier this week Fotu had broken a small bone in his hand that could require surgery.

Both starters could return with three games left in the season, assuming they recover fully within the four weeks they're mandated to miss.

Arizona plays host to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 12.
