Cardinals Waive Myjai Sanders

The Arizona Cardinals reportedly plan to part ways with Myjai Sanders.
In this story:

ARIZONA -- The Arizona Cardinals have demonstrated the ability to part ways with nearly anybody - regardless of name or status - under the new regime of general manager Monti Ossenfort and head coach Jonathan Gannon after names such as DeAndre Hopkins, Colt McCoy and Isaiah Simmons (among others) were sent packing prior to the 2023 regular season.

That again could be the case this week with former third-round pick Myjai Sanders.

The Cardinals have officially waived Myjai Sanders, they announced today.

Sanders was recently designated to return from injured reserve last week after missing the first five weeks of the season due to a hand injury.

Last year, Sanders started in four of the 13 games he played in. He tallied three sacks.

Arizona has a fairly deep room of pass-rushers including B.J. Ojulari, Dennis Gardeck, Zaven Collins and fellow 2022 third-round pick Cameron Thomas as well.

The trade deadline is Oct. 31. The Cardinals are currently 1-5 and will face the Seattle Seahawks in Week 7.
