Cardinals Reportedly Met With Washington WR

Rome Odunze has all the tools to make an impact at the next level.

ARIZONA -- The Arizona Cardinals have certainly done their homework on top wide receiver prospects entering the 2024 NFL Draft, and we can now add Washington Huskies WR Rome Odunze to the list of players the team met with.

From NFL Media's Ian Rapoport:

"Rome Odunze, one of the big topics here in Indianapolis and obviously did a really, really nice job with the drills today. Someone who certainly is in the mix, or I would say firmly in the mix, to be a top three receiver - maybe even challenge to be the top receiver although Marvin Harrison Jr. does seem to have a leg up there," Rapoport said on NFL Network.

"So let's take a look at some of the teams that he met with: the Patriots, the Cardinals, the Giants, the Titans and the Bears are among the intriguing ones for me guys, because those are all top 10 teams. Also spent some time with the Colts, the Jaguars, the Rams and the Steelers. The reason why those are interesting is those would be potential trade-up teams. Rarely do you see a huge trade up for receiver - but not never - obviously that is something to keep an eye on."

The Cardinals hold the No. 4 pick in the draft - and there's serious intrigue into what the organization will do. Many believe Marvin Harrison Jr. will be the slam-dunk pick if available when they're on the clock, though Odunze and LSU's Malik Nabers are also other coveted picks if they decide not to go that route.

People in the draft community seem to like with Odunze - a lot.

Even if the Cardinals do re-sign Marquise Brown, Kyler Murray needs a top wideout that can make plays past the line of scrimmage, and Odunze certainly fits that bill.
