Cardinals Reveal Kyler Murray's Status for Week 8

The Arizona Cardinals probably won't see Kyler Murray suit up on Sunday.
In this story:

ARIZONA -- The Arizona Cardinals have released their Friday injury report ahead of their Week 8 battle against the Baltimore Ravens.

OUT - Krys Barnes, Kevin Strong, Elijah Wilkinson

DOUBTFUL - Kyler Murray

QUESTIONABLE - Greg Dortch, Antonio Hamilton, Jalen Thompson

Kelvin Beachum and Zach Pascal were removed from the injury report and will play vs Baltimore.

Full Injury Report

All eyes were on Murray, who practiced fully on Wednesday before having no injury designations on Thursday or Friday.

Had the Cardinals not placed an injury designation on him, the team would have been required to not only remove him from the PUP list ahead of Sunday (according to PHNX) but also place him on the active roster for game day, too.

Murray initially began practice last week and was limited in all three days practiced before being ruled out.

"We'll see," said Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon when asked if Murray was playing. According to Gannon, Murray was doing "excellent" mentally.

Murray is nearing complete recovery from a torn ACL suffered in Week 14 of last season. With Murray being doubtful, it again looks like Josh Dobbs will be the starter for Arizona.

Official inactives will be released 90 minutes prior to kickoff, which is set for 1:25 PM Arizona time.
