Ravens Sign Former Cardinals Starter
ARIZONA -- One of the best teams in the AFC is adding much needed depth, and the Arizona Cardinals recognize a familiar face when they see one.
According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, the Baltimore Ravens are signing OT Josh Jones for offensive line depth:
Jones entered the league as a third-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, playing in Arizona for three seasons before being traded to the Houston Texans last August.
Jones then hit free agency this offseason and now finds himself on his third team.
Jones has 24 career starts, 21 coming during his time in the desert. His rookie year saw him play just 55 offensive snaps, though he played 73% and 52% of snaps in his final two years with the Cardinals.
2021 saw him start 12 games while Jones added another nine starts in 2022, both seasons he played all 17 games for Arizona.
After landing in Houston, Jones played just a quarter of offensive snaps after starting three games.
The versatile offensive lineman now lands in Baltimore, a team that just added Derrick Henry and will surely look to make another deep push into the postseason. Jones has played at both tackle and guard throughout his career.
