B/R Gridiron Takes Shots at Arizona Cardinals
The Arizona Cardinals blew a 20-0 halftime lead against the New York Giants in Week 2, eventually losing in 31-28 fashion.
It was the largest comeback for the Giants in the Super Bowl era, who had less than a 4% chance to win the game in the third quarter when they were down 28-7 according to ESPN FPI.
The Cardinals blew halftime leads in both Week 1 and Week 2 and are just one of nine 0-2 teams in the league.
Bleacher Report's Gridiron Heights series took a nice jab at the team towards the end of their most recent episode:
The episode begins with an injured Aaron Rodgers on the couch with Zach Wilson trying to help him. Both flip through a variety of reality TV shows centered around NFL teams/players.
In the final part of the episode, the New York Jets duo flip to "GLENDALE" where Josh Dobbs and Kyler Murray are sitting in a diner.
You can see neon signs on the outside windows that read, "TANKING - 24 HOURS" and a ketchup bottle with a label that says, "OPPONENTS WILL KETCHUP".
Colt McCoy appears to run into the room asking for help with Murray replying, "Sorry fam, that sounds like a Dobbs job."
The scene then pans back to Rodgers/Wilson on the couch with Rodgers saying, "Oh hell yeah, this is so terrible! I love it."
Not exactly the first time Bleacher Report has taken a jab at Arizona, and likely won't be the last time, either.
