Former Arizona Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins is still on the fence in terms of which uniform he'll be suiting up in for 2023.

He does indeed known when he plans to retire, however.

Hopkins posted the following on his Meta thread account (Facebook's attempt at Twitter):

"I'll retire from football when I'm not a 1k-yard receiver. With that said, I was on pace for 1,400 yards last year—one significant injury in 11 years. I might be playing till I’m 37 the way I feel," said Hopkins.

Hopkins just turned 31-years-old, and it appears he believes his best football is ahead of him.

Hopkins played in just nine games last season (six game suspension and two due to injury) but still put up a 64-717-3 stat line as a receiver.

In 2021, Hopkins played in just ten games. The eight seasons prior, Hopkins missed just two games.

Hopkins' age, ability to stay on the field and separation skills scared teams away from trading for him. His 2023 salary of $19.45 million wasn't going to fly regardless of whatever price tag the Cardinals put on him.

Hopkins has balanced potential suitors such as the Tennessee Titans and New England Patriots after hitting free agency - those are the two teams he's officially taken visits with since becoming a free agent.
