Report: Five Teams in Hunt for Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins
Rumors and speculation has run at rampant pace around Arizona Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins.
Hopkins is set to be one of the biggest names at the receiver position in recent history to move teams after the Cardinals are rebuilding and looking to shed some unnecessary cap space. Hopkins will turn 31 in the summer and likely wants to play for a competitor too, making the trade sensible on both sides.
Hopkins' close friend in Adam "Pacman" Jones revealed on the Pat McAfee Show that five teams are currently in on Arizona's WR1: New England Patriots, Baltimore Ravens, Las Vegas Raiders, Atlanta Falcons and Buffalo Bills.
"My sources tell me that D-Hop is getting hot right now, interest is heating up and it's five teams on that list. We'll start with the Falcons. The Falcons need some help - they need wide receivers. I think that can fit," said Jones before expanding on the list.
"Ravens: I think if Lamar's deal goes and gets done, my sources tell me that might be a landing spot. One of the biggest teams my sources tells me is the Buffalo Bills … My sources tell me Buffalo can work. I also like the Raiders too. The Raiders are on the board also."
The Patriots were also sprinkled in at the very end of the video, which is available in the tweet below:
