Colts Reportedly Hiring Cardinals QB Coach Cam Turner
The Arizona Cardinals are undergoing a massive overhaul to the coaching staff after showing Kliff Kingsbury the door. While that transition is nearly complete, a few names are still coming and going out of the building.
The Indianapolis Colts are bringing on former Cardinals QB coach Cam Turner, according to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport.
Turner first broke into the league as an assistant wide receivers shirt for the Carolina Panthers in 2015. He eventually moved to assistant quarterbacks in 2017 before heading to Arizona as an offensive assistant under Steve Wilks in 2018.
Kingsbury had Turner stick around and promoted him to assistant quarterbacks coach. He then added titles such as offensive assistant, quarterbacks coach and co-pass game coordinator before Kingsbury left.
With Israel Woolfork jumping on staff as the new quarterbacks coach under Jonathan Gannon/Drew Petzing, Turner was likely to join a fresh staff. He'll learn under a prominent offensive mind in Shane Steichen, who was recently hired as Indianapolis' new head coach this offseason.
Current look at Arizona's staff:
Head Coach: Jonathan Gannon
Offensive Coordinator: Drew Petzing
- OL Coach Klayton Adams
- WR or Passing Game Coordinator Drew Terrell

-TE Coach Ben Steele
Defensive Coordinator: Nick Rallis
-Defensive assistant Patrick Toney

-LB Coach Sam Siekes

Turner now joins DL Coach Matt Burke, TE Coach Steve Heiden, OLB Coach Charlie Bullen, DB Coach Marcus Robertson, CB Coach Greg Williams and Assistant ST Coach Devin Fitzsimmons as coaches to depart from the Kingsbury era.
