Kyler Murray Sends Message to Cardinals Fans: 'I Won't Let Us Down'

Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray showed himself rehabbing and said he misses the game more than anything.

Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray is itching to get back on the field, and he made that very clear to fans on a recent TikTok video he posted.

There's been plenty of noise, rumors and speculation around Murray for the upcoming season and beyond. Will Murray even step foot on the field for the Cardinals in 2023? Does Arizona want to risk him getting injured again? Does he fit into the future plans of Monti Ossenfort and Jonathan Gannon?

Murray has been silently rehabbing all offseason, mostly staying out of the light while he works back from a torn ACL/meniscus suffered in Week 14 of last season. He's slowly but surely progressed to running sprints and lifting heavy weights as highlighted in the team's Flight Plan video released earlier in the summer.

Just now, he's sent a message to Cardinals fans on TikTok:

The video starts with him rehabbing at Arizona's facility with the notorious Buddy Morris.

"I tore my ACL 8 months ago.. This is the only major injury I've had... I've never missed the game like this.. I'm itching to get back.. You learn a lot about yourself in these types of moments..  To those of you who ride with me, support me, speak up for me, I appreciate you more than you'll ever know. I won't let us down.

"Soon," is the last word before Murray finishes his set of squats with a dumbbell and stops recording.

Murray also updated his Instagram account:

"Kutthroat this time around.." read the caption.

Murray was placed on the PUP list during training camp and was not removed prior to the start of the regular season, which means he'll be out for at least the first four weeks.

Needing weeks of practice before the Cardinals may feel comfortable starting him, it's believed Week 7/8 is a more realistic starting point for his return, though nobody outside of the facility is certain.

The Cardinals themselves are currently 0-2 with Josh Dobbs at quarterback and are set to play the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers before Murray can be removed from PUP.
