Marvin Harrison Jr. Crushes Interview With Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals and Marvin Harrison Jr. had a productive meeting this week.

INDIANAPOLIS -- Ohio State WR Marvin Harrison Jr. didn't speak with reporters at the 2024 NFL Combine, but he did meet with the Arizona Cardinals this week according to head coach Jonathan Gannon.

"He's very thought out, very mature. It was a really good interview," he said on Arizona Sports' Wolf and Luke on Friday.

Harrison - considered to be one of the top prospects in the draft and certainly the undisputed No. 1 receiver - would fit like a glove in Arizona as the Cardinals need a playmaker at the position.

Both Gannon and Ossenfort had positive things to say about Harrison when meeting with reporters this week in Indianapolis:

Ossenfort: "I really don't want to get into an individual scouting report right now, all I can tell you is we've done a lot of work on Marvin, just as we have the rest of the draft. Excited to continue to work him through the process here in the next couple months."

Gannon: "Playmaker. Playmaker. Any time he touches it, he can score points. So that's the name of the game, score one more point than the other team. So I need to watch him more, but he's a playmaker."

The Cardinals currently hold the No. 4 and 27 pick in the first round.
