NFL Draft Insider Gives Cardinals WR/CB in Mock Draft

The Arizona Cardinals address the boundary on both sides of the ball in Daniel Jeremiah's first mock draft.

ARIZONA -- There's not too many NFL draft insiders, though NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah is definitely the cream of the crop when evaluating where dominoes will fall on the board.

Jeremiah recently dropped his first mock draft - and the Cardinals snagged two notable names in the first round.

After seeing three quarterbacks go off the board, Arizona made the home-run pick in Marvin Harrison Jr.:

"This is a perfect scenario for the Cardinals, with Harrison falling right into their lap. I’ve compared the former Buckeyes star to franchise icon Larry Fitzgerald," wrote Jeremiah.

Harrison's fit in Arizona has been well documented, and if he's indeed there at No. 4 - the Cardinals should sprint to the podium.

With their other first-round pick (No. 27 via Houston) the Cardinals took corner Cooper DeJean.

"The Cardinals can take the best player available with their second pick in Round 1. DeJean has the versatility to play any position in the secondary," added Jeremiah.

Arizona cut Marco Wilson this past season and are - quite frankly - in dire need of talent on the boundary. DeJean would add to the youth movement happening in the secondary with names such as Kei'Trel Clark, Starling Thomas and Garrett Williams hopefully improving.

With six picks in the first three rounds, the Cardinals certainly have their fare share of dart throws to add immediate impact players.
