Top Cardinals Target Declares for 2024 NFL Draft
ARIZONA -- The Arizona Cardinals will have their eye on a few talented players in the early portions of the 2024 NFL Draft, though none may be more prominent than Ohio State WR Marvin Harrison Jr. - who has now officially declared.
The lengthy announcement praised teammates, family and fans before officially announcing his decision.
"Truly a dream come true. Go Bucks," he ended the post with:
There was some pause when it came to Harrison's status after rumors of a NIL deal offering him several millions of dollars to return for one more season emerged.
Now, Harrison departs for the professional level after a decorated career with the Buckeyes. He earned unanimous All-American honors and was a recipient of the Biletnikoff Award - which is given to the nation's top receiver annually.
He finished his two years as a starter at OSU with 2,356 yards and 28 touchdowns.
The Cardinals - regardless of the status of Marquise Brown in free agency - desperately need help at receiver. The thought of a budding Trey McBride at tight end with a healthy Michael Wilson and combination of Harrison Jr. and another wideout is exciting to build around Kyler Murray.
Sure, there's other talented receivers coming through the draft - and fans should be more than happy to welcome other names such as Rome Odunze or Malik Nabers - but it's obvious MHJ is the golden ticket in the desert.
