New Chargers RB J.K. Dobbins Has Message For Fans

The Los Angeles Chargers made a big signing on Wednesday, agreeing to a one-year deal with former Baltimore Ravens running back J.K. Dobbins. The former Ohio State product was great for the Ravens but multiple injuries have limited him since entering the NFL.

He is currently coming off a torn Achilles but has been making great progress this offseason. The Bolts believe that he can give them a strong season, helping both parties throughout the year. Dobbins will be able to enter into free agency again next offseason, hopefully, looking to cash in after a great season.

The new Bolts running back took to social media to post about the signing. It should make the fans very excited to see what he can do this season.

Throughout his career, Dobbins has rushed for 1347 yards on 234 carries while scoring 12 touchdowns. He has averaged 5.8 yards per carry, which is a strong indicator of his success in the backfield. Dobbins will be joining former Ravens running back Gus Edwards, who signed with Los Angeles this offseason as well.

With new head coach Jim Harbaugh and offensive coordinator Greg Roman in the fold, the Bolts are looking to maximize their running back room. Roman coached both Edwards and Dobbins while in Baltimore, giving them major familiarity with the system.

Los Angeles will look to lean on their running game more this season, hoping to open things up for quarterback Justin Herbert. With Dobbins now in the mix, the Chargers like what they have and will look to get back to postseason contention.
