Chargers News: Bolts Personality Reminds Fans to Appreciate JC Jackson's Resurgence Process
The Los Angeles Chargers are looking for a season to remember considering how the 2022 season ended. It left all fans and the organization with a bad taste in their mouths, and it didn't end well for many individual players, including star cornerback J.C. Jackson.
Jackson only played five games in 2022 before suffering a season-ending knee injury in Week 7 against the Seattle Seahawks. Since then, he's been grinding his way back to the gridiron and showing that last season was a fluke.
After signing a massive 5-year, $82.5 million contract with the Bolts, he had an underachieving start and didn't end up showing what he's really about. His poor play and injury were unideal, but his road back to the field has been nothing short of spectacular.
Fans and the team are taking notice, including Chargers expert Dan Wolkenstein, who showed his respect and appreciation for Jackson and his road to recovery.
This was Jackson's first mjaor injury of his career, so this is unfamilar terrioty for the 27-year-old. However, you would'nt be able to tell by the way he's working and grinding in his rehab. He's determined to come back for Week 1 and he looks ready for it.
The star conrer spoke to the media after day one of mini-camp last week and said he will be ready for Week 1. A patellar tendon tear usually takes about six months to recover from, which passed for Jackson in April.
He has seemed to take the neccessary steps and we can't wait to see him come back and show he is a top corner in this league. A lot will ride on the Chargers defnese this season and Jackson will be at the forefront of it.
