Chargers News: Brandon Staley Talks Game Plan For Stopping Jordan Love
This Sunday, the Chargers are looking to get back in the win column after a crushing loss last weekend to the Detroit Lions.
The Chargers are coming into a road game Sunday afternoon against Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers.
After starting the year off 2-1, the Packers are now 1-5 over their last six games and are starting to find their season slipping away.
This year, the story for Green Bay has been, "Can Jordan Love be the quarterback of the future."
With a 3-6 record and just 2,009 yards passing, 14 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions this year, the Packers just might have their answer.
There have been times this year when Love has looked amazing and could be the QB of the future, but there have been other times when he hasn't looked fit for the role.
When asked how they plan to stop Love this season, Chargers head coach Brandon Staley stated that they will need to stop him from using his athleticism to stop making big plays.
"Jordan Love is a really athletic player. He makes a lot of big plays. This is his first year starting but we have a lot of respect for him." Said Staley. "The tape says that he can make a lot of plays. He's done that against a lot of quality defenses. So we're going to have to be ready to play."

This season, the Packers offense currently ranks 21st in the NFL.
Staley would also go on to compliment the Packers front seven as well as he stated the group is deep with talent and filled with high draft capital as they have eight first-round picks on the defensive side of the ball.
Earlier today, it was announced the Chargers would be without tight end Gerald Everett and potentially wide receivers Keenan Allen and Jaylen Guyton.
