The Los Angeles Chargers continue to get a better idea of what their final roster will look like in this first week of free agency. They have announced the tendering of kicker Cameron Dicker and offensive tackle Foster Sarell.

This news was first provided to us by Lindsey Thiry of the NFL.

Chargers fans will best remember Dicker from when he joined the lineup going into week 9 of the 2022 season and won them a key match against the Atlanta Falcons in his first game. He recorded a 95.5 percentage when it came to field goals and was named an AFC Special Teams Player of the Month multiple times.

Sarell was able to showcase his talent and potential in seven games with LA last season. He was thrown into the starting lineup in three games and performed best against the San Fransisco 49ers in week 10. Fans have been very excited to see how he improves over the next few years as he has been putting in lots of time with the Chargers' offensive line coach Duke Manyweather.

Many fans have immediately hit social media following the announcement of Dicker's tendering specifically because they believe it will lead to an interesting battle for the kicker position between him and Dustin Hopkins.

Hopkins served as a really solid piece for LA this season prior to his hamstring injury, most notably against the Broncos when they went overtime. It is a very good problem for LA's front office to have and it will make training camp in the summer very interesting.
