Chargers News: NFL Scout Believes Justin Herbert's Time to Win is Now
We're eight days away from the start of training camp, Charger fans. Before you know it, the Chargers will be back on the field to prepare for the biggest season to date, especially for their franchise quarterback, Justin Herbert.
Herbert will go into the season with a ton of weight on his shoulders, and that's expected when your front office does it's job and improves the roster. LA has what it needs, but it will be up to Justin to meet or even exceed expecations. With these expecations comes pressure, and he will certainly feel the heat this upcoming season.
NFL executives, coaches, and scouts ranked the top 10 NFL quarterbacks for the 2023 season and ranked Herbert at the number five spot. It's a step up from his ranking last season, but can he finally win at the highest level? We'll find out soon enough, but one NFC scout says this time is as good as any to get it done.
"Herbert is at that hump where they need him to win now," an NFC scout said. "He's got everything you need, a fantastic player, but now it's time to make that jump. The offense put so much on him that it's hard for him."

With healthy weapons and the addition of offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, there's no reason why LA shouldn't win.
The defense is or at least should be a lot better next season, and Herbert should be able to do his thing on offense. It won't be easy with many other top teams in their own conference, but they'll focus on themselves to be the best version they can be.
The Bolts have a high ceiling, and they'll look to break through it this season.
