Chargers Injury Report: 2 Pro Bowlers Skip Wednesday Practice Ahead Of Pats Game
With just a few days until the Los Angeles Chargers head out to Foxborough MA. to take on the New England Patriots, the Bolts are without two key players on Wednesday's practice.
Both Keenan Allen and Khalil Mack found themselves missing practice on Wednesday afternoon.
Last week, Allen's name made it on the injury report and he nearly did not play in Sunday's loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Now, he is back on the report for a quad injury.
While Allen was dealing with an actual injury, Mack was only out for rest and should play this Sunday.
For this Sunday's game against the Patriots, LA finds themselves in a must-win scenario, as the Chargers' season is quickly slipping with a 4-7 record.
If they lose this weekend, they can basically kiss any hopes of making the playoffs goodbye. The Chargers still have to play the Denver Broncos, Las Vegas Raiders, Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills. Every one of those teams except the Raiders is .500 this year.
Injuries have been a huge concern for the Bolts, and losing Keenan Allen for any period of time will significantly impact the offensive output. The Chargers already dealt with rookie Quentin Johnston being taken out of a game, and their passing attack has not been the same without Joshua Palmer as well.
