Chargers News: Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift Share First Public Kiss After Decisive Win In LA

Sunday was a fairytale?

On Sunday, your Los Angeles Chargers lost their second straight game, this time a 31-17 defeat to the reigning Super Bowl champs, and saw their playoff odds take a significant dip, as their 2023 season record fell to a paltry 2-4.

That was hardly the bullet point of the day for national audiences, however.

Eight-time Pro Bowl Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who looked well on his way to a ninth appearance thanks to some stupendous work on the field with the Chiefs, now 6-1, was seen after the game getting his first public smooch from new beau Taylor Swift, the 12-time Grammy Award winning pop and country music superstar who is also headlining the biggest blockbuster film of the fall.

Swifties nationwide were no doubt screaming "Today Was A Fairytale" at the top of their lungs upon seeing this image, shared via Pop Base.

Swift and Kelce's "Story Of Us" is no doubt still being written, but she seems to have been making a pretty positive impact with the two-time Super Bowl champ on the field. Kelce is averaging a whopping 107.5 receiving yards this season in the four games Swift has attended, and a "meager" 46.5 yards in contests she hasn't.

On Sunday, the 6'5", 250-pound superstar logged 179 receiving yards across 12 receptions (averaging 14.9 yards per) and one touchdown. His longest reception was a 53-yard bomb in the second quarter.
