Charger Pass Catcher Spills Beans on Kellen Moore's Ambitions Toward Former Team
All eyes will be on the Los Angeles Chargers tonight as they face off against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football. Both teams come in needing a win, and there are plenty of storylines sitting between these two squads.
The Kellen Moore revenge game is tonight, and the Chargers will be ready to go. It also seems that Moore himself will have some extra motivation in this one.
Wide receiver Simi Fehoko gave some insight into the mindset of Moore as he gets ready to face his former team for the first time.
“Kellen wants to put up 100 points if he can,” said Chargers receiver Simi Fehoko, who played for Moore in Dallas from 2021 to ’22. “And he’s going to keep scoring if he can.”

This mindset from Moore is likely from his former boss talking about his play-calling style. Dallas head coach Mike McCarthy took some shots at Moore after it was announced he was leaving the team.
“I’ve been where Kellen has been,” McCarthy said, according to The Athletic’s Jon Machota. “Kellen wants to light the scoreboard up. But I want to run the damn ball so I can rest my defense. I think when you’re a coordinator, you know, but you’re in charge of the offense. Being a head coach and being a play caller, you’re a little more in tune with (everything). I don’t desire to be the No. 1 offense in the league."

Moore likely wants to show up for the Cowboys after they let him go after last season, but the issue is that it could end up coming back to hurt him. Moore will need to manage his emotions on Monday Night and manage this game like the Bolts were playing against anyone else.
LA can't afford to drop this game, so Moore must stay in check. Head coach Brandon Staley will need to make sure of it, and if things start to get out of control, he will need to stop it.
It would be huge for their season if LA could come away with the win. But if they fail to grab this one, things get very tough for them going forward.
