Chargers Add Young Wide Receiver Amid Mike Williams' Injury
The Los Angeles Cahrgers made a flurry of moves earlier today by signing former Steelers practice squad player wide receiver Simi Fehoko.
This move comes amid the Mike Williams season-ending knee injury he suffered in the Vikings win on Sunday.
Fehoko, 25, has been a part of the Dallas Cowboys and the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Cowboys drafted him in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
He's collected four targets and three catches for 24 yards in his two-year career. He's only appeared in 10 games in two seasons before ending up with the Steelers practice squad.
Fehoko has some steep competition in front of him, with the likes of Keenan Allen, Joshua Palmer, Derius Davis, and possibly the return of Jaylen Guyton. He could be used more as a depth piece; however, it's the NFL, and injuries can happen to anyone at any time.
Time will tell, but nonetheless, welcome to Los Angeles, Simi!
