There are definitely times where a number of NFL fans can get caught up in the big catch that a star wide receiver makes or an incredible play made by a speedy running back to get an improbable first down. However, it is the offensive line that makes all of this possible and the Los Angeles Chargers' own OL will have a ton of responsibilities heading into the 2023 season.

The last thing the Bolts need is Justin Herbert coming off of a shoulder surgery to get banged up more than he needs to in the first few weeks of the year and be a shell of himself once the playoffs loom closer. Austin Ekeler will also be looking to keep defenses guessing with his own running games and the OL will need to open up clear paths for him.

All of their duties have already been a focal point in OTA's thus far and center Corey Linsley knows that it starts with him. Looking back on past failures and owning to mistakes is difficult at times but he addressed the fact that LA's OL does need to take some strides moving forward if they want to be one of the best teams in the NFL.

“Everybody’s running game is different,” said Linsley. “We’ve got to learn this one. I feel like we’re doing a pretty good job of it. Any issues that we have had we’ve been able to work through them. But, as of right now, we’ve got to just do our job. We’ve got to be a lot better than we were last year.”

Every skills group within the Chargers' organization will have multiple aspects to improve on should they want to take AFC West from the Kansas City Chiefs. It is great to see Linsley already taking ownership in OTA's.
