The Los Angeles Chargers have found themselves an excellent option at the OG position that will provide a ton of depth on the line.

Jordan McFadden is coming off of a season at Clemson that saw him take home the ACC Blocker of the Year and lead the charge for one of the best offenses in his area. LA's front office selected him with the 156th pick in the 2023 NFL Drafty despite many rumors of them rolling with a TE at that point.

The Bolts are also brining in someone that could grow to be an amazing locker room presence and leader at a young age. He was named the captain of Clemson's squad in 2022 and helped lead them to first place in the ACC with an 8-0 conference record.

At the end of the 2022 season, it was clear that the Chargers needed to address their offensive line and look to improve in any way possible. The Athletic had them slated as the number 13th strongest in the NFL, which is not bad by any means, but when you have someone like Justin Herbert at QB, he should be protected at all costs.

"The offensive line dealt with a lot of injuries in 2022, starting with

Rashawn Slater

, who suffered a season-ending torn biceps in Week 3. But this group is still in good shape. Slater is an All-Pro left tackle when healthy.

Corey Linsley

will turn 32 in July, but he, too, is still an All-Pro-level player when healthy.

Jamaree Salyer

, a 2022 sixth-round pick, filled in for Slater and played well. A move inside to guard for Salyer seems likely for next season — the open spot would be at left guard."

We cannot wait to see how McFadden helps change this perception.
