Chargers Draft Tuli Tuipulotu in the 2nd Round of 2023 NFL Draft

The Los Angeles Chargers got their edge locked up as they have opted to bring in Tuli Tuipulotu with their 54th pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

It was highly speculated that this was going to be the case in the first round because LA has had one of the worst running defense for the past few seasons. However, with the addition of Tuipultou, this will likely change very soon.

Tuipulotu is coming off of a stellar season at USC as he averaged 46 tacks and 13.5 sacks. He is viewed as one of the fastest and most NFL-ready players at his position.

Coming in at 6'4 and weighing 290 lbs, he possesses all of the physical capabilities to dominate down the line. It is clear that he'll be filling a hole that LA has had for some time and the pressure will be on for him to perform.
