Chargers Fans React to LA 2023 Schedule (Marquee Matchups, Division Games & More)
It is finally time to start planning some vacation days or maybe even some 'sick days' and set aside time so we can ensure that we are attending as many Chargers games as possible this season.
Whether that be during their slate of home games at Sofi Stadium or on the road. fans now have the pleasure of knowing exactly who the Bolts will be facing and when they will do so thanks to the 2023 NFL schedule being released.
The Chargers' social media team had to follow tradition and release an anime for the special day.
But the schedule itself is even better. Despite initial rumors that LA would face off against the Super Bowl-defending champions in the Kansas City Chiefs, they will instead start off at home in week one against the Miami Dolphins.
We will definitely see a lot of offense on display in just the Bolts' first official match of the season and fans are quite pleased.
It is also worth noting that the Chiefs will not host the Chargers until week seven. They are obviously the final boss battle that stands between LA trying to take over the AFC West and establish themselves as legit contenders instead of playoff chokers.
This time period will give both sides plenty of team to get some good rhythms going and give us a classic showdown, much better than week one in my opinion.
However, they will also see Kansas City as their final game of the season as well and fans are a little nervous about that one.
Even though LA doesn't have the toughest of starts as they play teams like the Tennessee Titans and the Las Vegas Raiders in their first four weeks, it only gets tougher from there.
They have been granted six primetime games and in the last stretch of the year, matchups against the likes of the Greenbay Packers, Baltimore Ravens, and Chiefs will play a huge role in determining their seeding and if they even make the playoffs.
Certain twitter users were not the most optimistic with their final predictions for LA's 2023 records.
Nonetheless, we are super excited to see our squad one step closer to officially hitting the gridiron.
