Chargers Injury News: Austin Ekeler's Status in Doubt for Sunday's Divisional Rivalry

Oh no.

Los Angeles Charger star running back Austin Ekeler listed as 'doubtful' for Sudnays's division battle against the Las Vegas Raiders. 

#Chargers say RB Austin Ekeler (ankle) and S Derwin James Jr. (hamstring) are doubtful. Edge rusher Joey Bosa (hamstring/toe) is questionable. C Corey Lindsey (illness) and JT Woods (illness) are out.

Ekeler hasn't played since their Week 1 loss to the Miami Dolphins. He's been sidelined due to a high ankle sprain he suffered in that game and has missed the last two contests.

Charger star defender Derwin James is also doubtful due to a hamstring injury he suffered in their Week 3 win against the Minnesota Vikings.  

LA has a bye Week next week, so they may want to keep Ekeler on the shelf to heal his ankle fully. The same approach may be done with James. 

All hands must be on deck if these two superstars miss Sudnay's must-win battle.
