Chargers Injury Report: 2 Ailing Offensive Standouts Returning For LA

The Bolts are healing just in time for a must-win game!

Your 4-6 Los Angeles Chargers were given some good health news just a little over an hour ahead of their impending, borderline must-win matchup against the mighty 8-3 Baltimore Ravens.

Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports that tight end Gerald Everett and wide receiver Jalen Guyton have both been officially activated for this evening's contest.

The return of Everett, a 6'3", 250-pound South Alabama alum, could be a huge get for star Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert's offensive attack. The 29-year-old Everett's size, strength and speed were sorely missed late during LA's most recent game, a 23-20 upset loss to the Green Bay Packers on the road. For the year, he's recorded 167 receiving yards and two touchdowns on 21 receptions.

Guyton, a 6'1", 212-pound fourth-year pro out of North Texas, has not been as much of a target for Justin Herbert. The 26-year-old has logged four receptions and one touchdown across 41 total yards.

With LA now spiraling near the bottom of the entire AFC, it needs all the help it can get against one of the best teams in the NFL.

Kickoff is set for 5:20 p.m. PT. The game will be this week's "Sunday Night Football" national broadcast selection for NBC.
