Chargers Injury Report: Another LA Superstar Will Sit Out Raiders Game

The Pro Bowler will miss his first game of the season

The Los Angeles Chargers will be without another one of their biggest offensive stars for their Thursday night matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.

The team announced via its official Twitter/X account that five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Keenan Allen will miss the Bolts' Week 15 matchup due to a heel injury.

Allen has missed practice all week, and in a short week, his status for playing grew dimmer by the day.

This will be the first game Keenan will miss of the 2023 season. The 31-year-old is having one heck of a campaign, recording 108 catches for 1243 yards and seven touchdowns in 13 games. The former comeback player of the year is recording the best season of his career; however, his team isn't in contention.

The Chargers will already be without their young stud of quarterback Justin Herbert, as he is out for the rest of the season due to an index finger injury. The Bolts will trout out their best team on Thursday and look to capture a road win against their arch-rivals. This won't be the doozy we all thought it would be, at least on paper, but the Bolts will look to spoil Raider fans' weekend.
