Adding insult to injury for the Los Angeles Chargers in their matchup against the Denver Broncos, wide receiver Keenan Allen now looks hurt. He is being looked at by the training staff while the Bolts trail the Broncos in the second half of the game.

Allen is out of the medical tent and sitting on the bench. It remains to be seen if he will re-enter the game.

Quarterback Justin Herbert has already been ruled out for the rest of the game and losing Allen would hurt. Allen has been the Chargers' best-skill position player all season long and they can't afford him to miss time.

This game against Denver may already be out of reach, and the Chargers' slim playoff hopes would be dashed with a loss. The Bolts have been prone to injury all season long and this is just another example of their tough season.

UPDATE:

Keenan Allen has returned to the game. We are unsure what might have happened, but it appears it's not significant.
