Chargers Injury Report: LA Rests Key Vets On Both Sides Of Ball In Wednesday Practice

The Bolts are taking it easy.

Ahead of a (fundamentally meaningless) matchup against a careening Denver Broncos team dealing with some major quarterback drama, your 5-10 Los Angeles Chargers seem to be slow-rolling practice reps for some of their star players, per their Wednesday injury report.

After missing the past five contests with a sprained foot, outside linebacker Joey Bosa is currently still on LA's injured reserve list, but is considered probable to return. He was a limited participant in the team's practice.

Defensive back Deane Leonard (heel), linebacker Kenneth Murray (shoulder), tackles Trey Pipkins (wrist) and Rashawn Slater (ankle), and tight end Nick Vannett (back) were all limited participants. Linebacker Tanner Muse (knee) was a full participant.

Pro Bowl wide receiver Keenan Allen, who sat out last Saturday's 24-22 loss to the Buffalo Bills with a heel injury, did not part in Wednesday's practice. Pro Bowl linebacker Khalil Mack (rest) and wide receiver Joshua Palmer (concussion) also did not play, but are still not listed on LA's injured reserve list. Defensive lineman Nick Williams sat out due to a shoulder ailment.

Linebacker Tanner Muse (knee) is, like Bosa, still on the team's injured reserve list, but expected by his team to return to the lineup at some point this week.
